Interested in Renting a Garden Bed with FCG?

We have the following types of beds available:

  • 12 raised beds that measure 12’x4′ (full size)
  • 2 beds half the size at 6’x4’ (half size)
  • 1 accessible raised bed that measure 9'x3' and is 30" high

Our raised beds are constructed of untreated cedar and filled with a blend of screened topsoil and plant-based compost.

Garden beds are rented out each season. Renters may plant fruits, veggies, or flowers in their raised beds. Your rental fees cover water costs and any additional garden maintenance. All plot fees collected by renters are directly reinvested in the garden.

All gardeners are required to contribute 10 volunteer hours to the garden. Gardeners must sign up for at least 1 week of watering before their plot application is approved. Any other volunteer tasks should be discussed with the Garden Coordinator.

Ready to Join? Please complete the following steps

1. Contact the FCG Garden Coordinator to select your plot

Existing gardeners are given the option to keep their previous season's bed, or change beds, if available. Once existing gardeners have been finalized, the remaining beds are opened up to the public for rent.

Please contact our Garden Coordinators, Carolyn Melphy (303-748-0597) or Adrienne Jones (562-472-7070), or via email at foxridge.gardens@gmail.com for more information about plot availability.

2. Start the registration process

Once you have selected your plot, you will receive an email from one of the Garden Coordinators regarding volunteer water sign-up and the DUG Community Garden Plot Application. This form covers the following:

  1. Gardener Contact Information and Profile
  2. DUG Community Agreements
  3. Gardener Authorization and Responsibilities
  4. FCG Rules and Regulations
  5. Payment

3. Attend mandatory garden orientation

FCG will host two Gardener Orientations for the 2026 season. Orientation will be held at Foxridge Community Garden:  Session #1, Saturday, April 25th at 1 PM,  Session #2 Saturday, May 9th, at 10 AM. If you cannot attend, please contact the Garden Coordinators.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! The rental fees will remain the same regardless of the number of gardeners. One person can pay the fees or they can be split however the group decides. Each gardener must complete an application and waiver, even if they are not directly paying the rental fees. Our Garden Coordinator can help your group with this.
