We have the following types of beds available:
Our raised beds are constructed of untreated cedar and filled with a blend of screened topsoil and plant-based compost.
Garden beds are rented out each season. Renters may plant fruits, veggies, or flowers in their raised beds. Your rental fees cover water costs and any additional garden maintenance. All plot fees collected by renters are directly reinvested in the garden.
You can rent a full 12′ x 4′ raised bed and garden to your heart’s content. The cost for a full bed is $100, $25 of which goes to Denver Urban Garden who provides our liability insurance and non-profit status.
You can rent one of our 3 smaller half-beds on the southern side of the garden or you can share a full bed with someone (Find a friend or we can match you with another half-bed renter). Half beds cost $50.00 with $12.50 going to Denver Urban Gardens.
New for 2025, we have an accessible raised bed that is at least 30" high, allowing for wheelchair access. The bed is 9'x3'.
Plots fees and dues will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Existing gardeners are given the option to keep their previous season's bed, or change beds, if available. Once existing gardeners have been finalized, the remaining beds are opened up to the public for rent.
Please contact our Garden Coordinator, Barbara Van Hise, at 303-552-6176 or via email at foxridge.gardens@gmail.com for more information about plot availability.
After you have selected a garden plot, you need to complete the DUG Community Garden Plot Application. This form covers the following:
FCG will host two Gardener Orientations for the 2025 season.
The first orientation will be held at Foxridge Community Garden on Thursday, May 8th at 6:30PM.
The second orientation will be held at Foxridge Community Garden on Saturday, May 17th at 10:00 AM. Our Plant Sale is the same day, which is a great opportunity to buy any transplants you need grown by our own FCG Steering Committee members.
Yes! The rental fees will remain the same regardless of the number of gardeners. One person can pay the fees or they can be split however the group decides. Each gardener must complete an application and waiver, even if they are not directly paying the rental fees. Our Garden Coordinator can help your group with this.

After the DUG portion is paid, the remaining fees go right back into the garden. Fees will cover water, maintenance needs, and other garden supplies as needed.
